@ 2008/09/19Icrontic.com has reviewed two Palit graphics cards sporting 1GB of memory; the GeForce 9600GT 1GB Sonic and the Radeon HD3850 Super+1GB. Both cards sport well over the normal amount of video RAM, but we show that bigger doesn't always mean better.

One such manufacturer, Palit, thinks that more is better and offers several card revisions with a full 1GB of onboard memory. There is so little distinguishing graphics cards these days, so it is always refreshing to see options like this. Whether or not a full gigabyte of onboard memory can make a difference—we'll see for ourselves."
