Although the definition is changing, the average gamer is male and not older than 30 years. So of course the slogan “Sex sells” is fully applicable to the target group of the gaming industry. The Games Convention is an almost perfect platform to advertise new games and the companies hire Booth Babes to draw the visitors’ attention.
