@ 2008/08/21Let’s talk about Fujitsu's latest UMPC, the Lifebook U2010 (in Japan, FMV-BIBLO Loox U), introduced last week at AkihabaraNews (here). It’s a stylish, robust, and light UMPC. The Lifebook has all the connectivity you need, as well as storage capacity. On the downside, it took the Loox U around a minute and a half to boot Windows Vista, and can hold only 1GB of RAM…..
As for specifications, our UMPC comes with an Intel Atom Z530 processor (1.60GHz), a 5.6 LED back lighted touchscreen in WXGA resolution (1280x800), 1GB of DDR2 (max), 60GB of HDD (a 64GB SSD drive is also available), WiFi a/b/g, Bluetooth, SD/CF card slot, 1.3Mpix camera, a standard battery delivering a life span of 5.3 hours. A 4 cell battery providing 11.1 hours of runtime can also be used.
