Since the Opteron was released we have seen a wide array of products and memory speeds. While at launch the top official speed was DDR333 we were quickly able to test at DDR400 when we could get registered DIMMs that could run at that speed. As time progressed we were even able to obtain modules that ran at DDR400 Cas 2.0. Now you will find some Opteron servers, usually quads using only DDR266, but usually you will find DDR333 boxes. We will show performance on the Athlon 64 FX51, or equivalent to the Opteron 248 in MHz and performance with DDR266, DDR333, and DDR400.
