NVIDIA GeForce Driver Version 177.79 Released

Along with the release of the new NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+, 9800 GT, and 9500 GT GPUs comes a new beta driver. The GeForce driver release 177.79 comes to add nothing but these three GPUs to the database of supported GeForce 8-series, 9-series, and 200-series GPUs. It may also bring some performance improvements in various games and applications.
Added support for the following NVIDIA products:
• GeForce GTX 280
• GeForce GTX 260
• GeForce 9500 GT
• GeForce 9800 GT
• nForce 780a SLI
• nForce 750a SLI

• Added support for hot-plug detection of VGA displays that provide EDID
information.
• Added support for DDC-Ci/MCCS over the DisplayPort AUX channel.
• Added the NVIDIA Control Panel option to expose only consumer
electronics (CE) resolutions for HDMI inputs.

It seems theyve improved CUDA support further in this too, folding@homes output has increased on my GTX 280, from 6400 points per day to about 7400.
