if it's a dual GT200 it's normal that it would be DX10.
too expensive depends on your point of view, as high end cards were $500 at launch at the minimum for years now; ATI launched well below this price point, putting pressure on the whole price structure. The GTX280 is still the fastest single GPU on the market, also offers higher performance/power usage numbers than any other single GPU in the high end bracket. They'll have to lower their profit on these chips to remain competitive. But if they focused on GTX260 and kept GTX280 at same price level, they could offset money earned from GTX280 to lower GTX260 price to HD4850 level ($180), this would seriously turn the tables in favor of NVIDIA as the GT200 uses less power to deliver high performance compared to ATI HD4000

Still no Dx10.1 not SM4.1?
Still a massive chip.
Still too expensive?
