Intel to EOL QX6850 and QX6800

@ 2008/07/01
We wrote before that Intel plans to introduce a new Q6850 chip that will work at 3GHZ but unlike QX6850 won't be unlocked.

As both work at the same basic clock, Intel has decided to retire the expensive one QX6850 in July and it will retire QX6800 clocked at 2.93GHz.

Both of these CPUs are 65nm based and Intel simply wants to shift a lot of focus on 45nm Quad cores and later this year to Bloomfield, Nehalem based CPUs.
