BenQ launches 16:9 LCDs

The new displays will be offered in 21.5” (2200 sequence number) and 24” (2400 sequence number) sizes, both offering a native 1920x1080p resolution, which matches the resolution offered by today’s 1080p TVs. BenQ will offer these sizes in the regular “E”-series as well as its Multimedia “M”-series, which includes an integrated 2.0 megapixel webcam.

so more scrolling action to look forward too as we loose horizontal pixel space. Even an old 21" CRT monitor with 1600x1200 is better suited than a 1920x1080 screen resolution for anything but movies

although gaming in widescreen can be fun too, I guess, depending on the game and correct aspect ratio
