The ever popular Web site, Ars Technica, has been acquired in a rumored US$25 million deal as part of a joint venture of Conde Nast and Wired Digital. Ars Technica under the deal will become part of Wired Digital.

The site was started by Ken Fisher and Jon Stokes back in 1998. Under the deal, Ars Technica will be integrated into Wired Digital along with its current employees.
