@ 2008/04/07This full ATX mainboard comes with 2 PCI and 3 full length PCIe x16 slots. You can run Dual card SLI using the two blue slots. To run 3 way SLI, just add the third card to the white PCIe x16 slot.
On the top left corner of this board, we can see a VIA controller chip , two Marvell GbE and one JMB363 controller for the SATA on the go. Towards the right we can see the heatpipe attached on the MOSFETS, North and South bridge. Notice that the block can be transformed into a watercooling system by pumping water into the holes sighted on top of the NB heatsink.
At the bottom corner of the board, we can see the Power and reset switch, 6 SATA II ports, 1 IDE channel, 4 DDR3 DIMM slots and the south bridge NF570SLI.
Moving towards the centre of the board is the North bridge NF 680i that supports the FSB1600 CPU. There are 4 DIM slots support 4 DIMMs of up to a total of 8GB of DDR2-800.
