The Greatest Show on Earth!

When it comes to home theaters, I thought I'd seen it all. But nothing's come close to this. First, I'm going to try to describe the sheer magnitude of Jeremy Kipnis' theater. His Stewart Snowmatte laboratory-grade screen is the biggest I've ever seen in a home, and in the back of the theater, there's a Sony ultra-high-resolution (4,096-by-2,160) SRX-S110 digital projector. I'm looking everywhere, jotting down questions, and Kipnis sounds almost giddy talking about his theater's capabilities. He refers to his baby, the Kipnis Studio Standard (KSS), as "The Greatest Show on Earth." And from the looks of it, he may be right.

Yeah, I would agree completely with that. Not to mention Anand won't have two massive step-down transformers to worry about sitting next to his garage, or cryogenically cooled circuit breakers to monitor. His setup is much more practical.

Still, that screen size was nice...

It may be worth a lot of $$sand have all the best components but it looks to me like a truck arrived, dropped off a load of speakers and amps, they set them in an oval, took the photos and were going to load them straight back up.

At least Anands set-up will be integrated into it's surroundings and less 'in your face'.

Yeah, well Kipnis earned his money, so let him spend it as he wants. I'm sure he gave everyone a inferiority complex about their own home theater setups. Even makes Anand La Shrimpi's home theater look pretty pedestrian, which it is not!

The comments below are the most interesting part.
They are in fact mostly negative, with quite a few suggestions thrown in.
