Powercolor to sell NVIDIA under new brandname

Zotac was the surprise of 2007, when the company backed up by PC partner decided to do Nvidia only. PowerColor doesn’t rest and wants to do the same. That is how the Hero brand was born. We got confirmation that Hero is a separate company, but again very close to PowerColor and these guys will only sell Nvidia.

my cousin bought a powercolor geforce 4 card many moons ago, worked pretty good too, and always good pricing, but less known in .BE compared to Asus & MSI

Powercolor may not be a popular choice, but I still have a favorite spot for them. They were my first GPU purchase, a pre-overclocked ATI 9600XT that was one of the few to support automatic Overdrive overclocking. It worked suprisingly well, and the card itself still works 4-5 years later... most likely due to the non-reference cooler they had choosen to use on their 9600 cards.
