First in DirectX 10.1: ATI Radeon HD 3850/3870

Nvidia GeForce 6 graphics cards were the first ones to support expanded DirectX 9 version and Shader Model 3.0., which gave the company a serious marketing advantage for the next one and a half years, however, never resulted in any practical benefits for them. Today we are going to talk about ATI Radeon HD 3800, the first graphics accelerators supporting DirectX 10.1.
