With the advent of hybrid cars, being “green conscience” is the new way to be. Even celebrities are ditching their resource wasteful ways in favor of more earth friendly cars and even houses. Not to be left out of the new, emerging trend, Western Digital presents the Green Power series of drives, which claim 4-5 watts less power hungry than other drives.

i'm a pretty loyal WD customer... i've had 6 of their hdd's and not one problem with any... currently i have a 36.7gb raptor and a 250gb cavier i'm going to sell the raptor and the 250 to get a 750gb or tb. this green tb one looks like it's going to be the winner though
