More performance updates, fixes for Vista released in advance of SP1

Windows Vista is either a smash hit if you listen to Microsoft or a slow burn if you consider how it has failed to ignite PC sales. Despite lots of eye candy and new features, the general impression of Vista—especially in business environments—is that one should wait until Service Pack 1 (SP1) is released before even thinking of upgrading. Microsoft, understandably, wants to get SP1 out the door as soon as possible while also ensuring that it represents a significant upgrade for users. To this end, the software giant is preparing five new updates that were not previously part of the Vista SP1 beta.
