MSI announces server board K9NU-Speedster for AMD Barcelona

MSI, introduces in the server market its newest server platforms supporting AMD's first native Quad-Core server Opteron™ processor, code-named as Barcelona. The MSI K9NU Speedster Series motherboards and the MSI K1-106 Series fully support synchronous Quad core Opteron™ processor to reach new levels of performance. The MSI K9NU Speedster Series and the MSI K1-106 Series are based on the NVIDIA nForce 3400 chipset. The MSI server series are equipped with eight DIMM slots supporting maximum 32GB, six SATA II ports with RAID 0/1/0+1/5, dual GbE LAN ports based on Marvell 1116 PHY and the latest MSI Thermal Heatpipe solution.
