BioShock DX10 Performance and Image Quality

@ 2007/09/05
Overall there is no compelling reason to upgrade to Windows Vista to run the DX10 codepath in BioShock at this specific time. There aren’t any major visible features that would compel anyone to make that switch, especially with the lack of AA support in DX10. Hopefully a patch will add AA support in DX10, if this happens, this conclusion would be different. Anyone looking to upgrade in order to play BioShock should be looking at no less than an ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT or NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS, whether you plan to use DX9 in Windows XP or DX10 in Windows Vista.
