Intel E6420 vs AMD 5600+ CPU Performance Review

Many consumers purchase OEM or prebuilt machines and when deciding which machine to purchase the decision is usually based around the processor. We have taken two budget machines, one from Intel and the other from AMD and compared them for overall best performance. AMD has introduced the Better By Design Program which is intended to deliver better performance at a lower cost. Does the Better By Design Program actually deliver better performance or just more marketing?

Shouldn't be shocking, in fact I believe the number has gone down a bit. However, should the data comes from mass market (since source data is not released) which is likely, only a few percentage of the remaining 6% overclock CPU or GPU inclusive "prebuilt" as special order from Dell or HP.
