DDR2 Memory on the rise in July

@ 2007/07/11
After experiencing more than a half year of consecutive price drops, DRAM contract prices finally saw a rebound in the first half of July with a 20% sequential gain recorded for mainstream 512Mb DDR2 chips.

DRAMeXchange records that mainstream 512Mb DDR2 saw a 20% growth in the first half of July, an upward trend that was in line with expectations. The memory-trading firm observed that most PC OEMs were willing to accept the price adjustment in the first half of July, adding that the price rebound was a reflection of a reasonable price correction.
