Intel X38 will do SLI, maybe?

@ 2007/06/27
Now we are sure that NV will deny it up and down, but seeing as how they have trouble with anything relating to the truth, I would urge the reader to ignore them. The engineers tell us that SLI drivers are in the final state of polishing with a few bugs left to quash, but plenty of time remains to finish things up.

In any case, it is not a surprise to anyone that this is happening, unless you work for NV PR, they didn't see it coming at all. Other than a kick-donkey-euphemism gaming rig based on X38, all this signals is the end of NV's chipset business.

I've heard from some good sources that SLI is indeed working on X38. There is at least one (motherboard) manufacturer that has developed a fully working driver for it.
