CPU Coolers Roundup

@ 2007/06/26
Every single one of you, prepared or not, will soon have to come to
terms with the fact that the conventional cooling of the CPU needs to be
replaced by a better, more efficient one, or simply stick with the default
clock of your CPU, thus maybe even question the stability of the
aforementioned in the upcoming hot summer days. In order to help you to find
best solution, we tested 9 CPU coolers, courtesy of 5 different
manufacturers.

What a ****! That guy's face is all green.

Quad core Conroe consumes less than AMD's fastest dual cores.

The processor on which we mounted the coolers was a C2D E6400. CPU choice is not coincidental out of multiple reasons. The main reason is the large heat dissipation, a characteristic of every C2D processor.
C2D runs rather cool compared to P4/D right?

tested outside a case :/
