Kingston Launches Low-Latency DDR3

our surprise when Kingston asked us if we would like to review their first low-latency DDR3. Where the competition was 9-9-9 at DDR3-1333 and 7-7-7- at DDR3 1066, Kingston specified their new DDR3 memory at 7-7-7 at 1333 and 6-6-6 at 1066. These were definitely some memory sticks we wanted to review.

I think it is more interesting that people reach 2200 MHz =P

The lower power consumption is just a bonus but crucial for server applications.

I hope when I get a 4GB Quadcore setup, DDR3 will be as affordable as DDR2.

Ah, they changed their benchmarks from 1520MHz @ 9-9-8-22 to 1500MHz @ 7-7-7-15. Truly impressive performance figures for a new memory standard that is not even out yet. At that price it is already outperforming the best DDR2 RAM out there at a lower price.
