Alpha Novatech PRE9060M92P Socket 775 Heatsink

@ 2007/01/22
"When Alpha Novatech produce a new heatsink model the company tends to only produce one or two variations to get it right. On the other hand, companies like Thermaltake produce dozens of heatsinks for each new CPU platform, and six months down the road there is always an entirely new collection of thermal solutions to choose from.... Did you ever wonder why it takes a high end heatsink manufacturer a handful of thermal solutions to cover an entire processor series, and other brands dozens and dozens? In this review, Frostytech will be testing out the Alpha Novatech PRE9060M92P heatsink; a large socket 775 solution ideally suited for Intel Pentium D, Core 2 Duo/Quad processors."

I think they are bulk providers, like to produce things in mass, not likely to do a small sample of units

Definitely not the best choise they made, maybe they can make us smile again when they release a G80 socket adapter

The Alpha PAL series has been beat my Thermalright when they released their first heat pipe powered unit the SP-94. Alpha's new HSF for S775 is still based on the original design, making it a not so serious contender compared to the heat pipe heatsinks out there, too bad I really liked the PAL8045 as one of the best Athlon Thunderbird heatsinks at the time http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=getarticle&articID=55
