Battle of the GUIs timelime in Pictures

A great time line in pictures showing the evolution of Operating Systems and their graphics. The first commercial OS GUI was in 1983 by Apple. Unix and Windows joined later. Some great screen shots that are a joy to view over and over again. KDE joined later in 1998 and Gnome in 1999. The two are developing fast, particularly KDE. (src: Digg.com)
