When confronted with basic rock music or even electronic music, the 370’s simply do not convey any energy or passion to the listener, as the array of instruments disappear into a muddy "noise-pit" otherwise known as a soundstage. Tonality is as you would expect from a 2mm thick plastic enclosure - quite ordinary. Nearly all midrange bass is sent to the "subwoofer" which has become a dire hallmark of systems using small (<4") mid bass drivers.
