@ 2006/11/02Industry players said they have no doubts that Windows Vista will help spurring demand for memory products in 2007. Aggressively ramping up 12-inch wafer outputs, local makers are also optimistic on trends in the memory market until the end of next year, the players commented.
Games also push the requirements, 2 GB is the de facto standard and all those rich people switching to Core 2 now need to buy new 2 GB kits.
The price already caused all cheap PCs only to come with 512 MB, which is crap. Only Apple goes against the trend with the Macbook Pro memory upgrades.
