The trend of keeping the inside of a computer case clean and air flow friendly started by zip-tying cables together. Then it went to covering the cables in wire loom. Today, the newest method is the modular cable system. Seasonic jumped on this trend and developed their own style of detachable modular DC cables with their line of M12 power supplies
