Enermax Marathon Enlobal 120mm Fan

Almost every case fan out there is the same. Since LED fans we have not really seen a big advance in fan technology. Well today we are taking a look at a new fan from Enermax that uses a magnetic barometric bearing instead of a normal ball bearing. This makes the fan to run much quieter and allows you to remove the fan blades so you can clean them. So let's check out the Enermax Marathon Enlobal 120mm case fan.

hehe. So did I, until I noticed the little orange "bar graphs", and got curious at the very mixed ratings! One user claims a DOA, but I'll admit you can never tell with some people, and no one makes perfect stuff anyway so I'd really expect a few of those...

5 of the 9 comments report noise problems due to vibration, which one user claims to have fixed by having to add a bit of oil. I'll admit their "reviews" need to be taken with a pound of salt, but when a majority of the comments say basically the same thing...

newegg "reviews" doesn't seem very negative

the only negative one seems to be a case of bad mounting rather then bad fan

I saw two of these on NewEgg and was wondering just what the heck it really was, marketing speak aside... Review seems to like it, but after reading those user reviews on NewEgg...
