Aerocase Announces New, High-Performance, HTPC Passive Video Cooler

Sheridan, WY. August 3, 2006 – Aerocase, Inc. today announced their Cool-Wings TM Raven XL high-performance, fanless video card cooler, designed specifically for the Home Theater PC (HTPC) and Small Form Factor (SFF) market.

“This new passive video cooler allows the HTPC enthusiast to significantly reduce the amount of noise coming from their media center,” said President and CEO, Katherine Dean. “The Raven XL has been specially designed to fit in the close quarters of stylish low-profile enclosures.”

Aerocase’s line of Cool-Wings High-Performance Video Cooling Systems are able to reduce GPU temperatures by as much as 8° to 10°C over stock heatsinks, and to do so silently.

The Raven XL is currently available for mid-range video cards from the ATI 9700 through the nVidia 7600 and ATI X1800 series, with GPU power ratings under 65 watts. Unlike the standard Raven Cooler, the new XL Cool-Wings heatsink assembly extends 90° horizontally to the front of the video card, providing low-profile clearance. Additionally, it may be ordered in either left or right facing, which opens up use in dual video card, SLI and Crossfire systems.

Product availably is scheduled for August 15th , 2006 directly from the manufacturer, with a list price of $49.95. A reseller program will provide dealer pricing beginning September 1st, 2006.
