Nvidia´s G80 has HDCP inside

@ 2006/07/21
HDCP stands for High bandwidth Digital Content Protection and it is a video version of DRM. That is the easiest way to describe it. It will be a necessity for playing HD DVDs or Blu Ray disks from your PC. Even this is not going to happen anytime soon but everyone is already going Nuts in May about HDMI and HDCP. G80 and the shipping G73, Geforce 7600 generation will have both HDMI and HDCP inside the graphics processor. It will remove the necessity for the highly unavailable Silicon Image 1930 chip.
