Core 2 Extreme X6800 VS FX-62 In-Depth Performance Preview

HKEPC takes an in-depth look at the Core 2 Extreme X6800, comparing it to the Pentium XE 965 (3.73Ghz) and AMD FX-62 (2.8Ghz) in many application benchmarks, game benchmarks and they also do some Crossfire testing. Beside the performance numbers you'll also find out how much power each setup consumes and what temperature they run at. Most in-depth "preview" of the Core 2 CPU yet? I think so.

I linked to the page where the benchmark numbers start, the previous pages explain the Core 2 technology, but as they are in Chinese and Babelfish translation is not worth much, it's mostly lost on the English speaking crowd
