BFG GeForce 7900 GTX OC 512MB PCI-E

@ 2006/06/08
I can’t imagine there are many real enthusiasts out there who haven’t yet heard of BFG (which stands for Big F***in’ Gun if you didn’t already know that)… they’re pretty popular amongst gamers and they’ve got a loyal customer base thanks to their reputation for excellent customer support and for their lifetime warranty. The card we’re looking at today is BFG’s 7900 GTX OC 512MB – the OC stands for overclocked. While BFG’s 7900 GTX OC uses the standard NVIDIA reference cooler, BFG has increased the clock speeds from 650MHz / 800 MHz (1.6GHz DDR) to 670MHz / 820MHz (1.64GHz DDR). Not exactly a huge leap, but it’s something. In this review we’ll be comparing the BFG 7900 GTX OC 512MB to 11 other cards in 7 games, plus 3DMark'06 but that doesn't count. Let's find out who comes out on top.
