Intel has some 65 nm Celeron Ds scheduled for a May 28 launch, according to a report by DigiTimes. The processors will be built on the same Cedar Mill core as Intel's 65 nm Pentium 4 6x1 chips, and have a thermal design power of 65 W, down from 73-84 W for current 90 nm Prescott-based Celerons. According to DigiTimes, Intel will release two 65nm Celeron D chips on May 28: a 3.2 GHz Celeron D 352 and a 3.33 GHz Celeron D 356. The company is also expected to unveil a 3.46 GHz Celeron D 360 some time between July and September. All three CPUs will feature a 533 MHz front side bus and 512 KB of L2 cache—twice the cache of current Prescott-based Celeron Ds.
