@ 2006/03/20WE DON’T have many details yet, but we know that Nvidia is preparing for a new launch. Just days after it launched its Geforce 7900 and 7600 generations, it is readying a lower cost 7600 part.
The chip specification will be similar to the existing 7600 but we know that the new cards will use DDR 2 memory. It will end up slower but at the same time the cards should cost around $149. We suspect that these cards will be able to beat 6600 GT cards and for sure it will give ATI's X1600XT a run for its money.
