AMD has officially announced its new A620 chipset, giving an entry-level motherboard option for its Ryzen 7000 series CPUs. ASRock, Asus, Biostar, Gigabyte, and MSI have already announced their own motherboards, and AMD says these should start at $85.

According to AMD's announcement, "the AMD A620 chipset will be available beginning March 31 and will provide a streamlined, trusted platform with plenty of connectivity and bandwidth options. That includes options like DDR5 memory, AMD EXPO technology, one-click memory overclocking, and up to 32x PCIe 4.0 lanes to satisfy demanding home and office users." Although AMD directs it to their official site, the AM5 chipset lineup has yet to be updated with the A620.
