But we have not finished burning down the 5G networks in the UK yet

By the time the English have gotten around to saving the world from 5G towers by burning down 4G towers, the South Koreans will have launched their own 6G networks.

South Korea plans to launch its first sixth-generation (6G) network in 2028. As part of the K-Network 2030 plan, South Korea will secure "world-class" 6G technologies, innovate the "software-based next-generation mobile network" and strengthen the network supply chain.

The government will incentivise local companies to produce equipment, parts, and materials for 6G technology in South Korea. It will develop an open radio access network that is compatible with any device and enables mobile carriers and enterprises to provide flexible services.
