Quad SLI - Don't expect miracles

Reports say that if you have a 30" monitor, it will make a noticeable difference, but all lesser glass will be restrictive. It is not much of a stretch to assume that if you can afford a pair of these monsters, a 30" LCD will not be a financial hurdle either. Anyone else will be wasting their money

You're right and I am wrong.

Those Asus cards do 'function' in a quad-sli bridgeless environment, but they do not 'work' as intented. Graphic corruption does occur.

as far as I know, the Dual Asus 7800GT did not work in SLI.

From the screens I've seen from the Dell Quad SLI setup they used 2x SLI connectors to get all four GPU's to work together

I don't quite get it. Quad-SLI is official from today but ASUS has had dual GPU gtx7800 for a while, also running in quad sli configuration.

Could someone shed some light as to how could this happen?
