Now all we need are our jet packs

Chinese electric vehicle company XPENG AEROHT has launched what they’ve dubbed the safest electric flying car -- presumably because it is unlikely to be driven by Italians or Bulgarians.

The two-seater eVTOL X2 looks like a flying machine and was launched by the Dubai International Chamber at Dubai’s Gitex Global 2022 event.
Apparently, it marks a new era in short-haul flights and AI driven mobility solutions. The autonomous two-seater car is capped at 760 kg take off weight and weighs 560 kg empty. It can achieve a maximum speed of 130 km per hour. It offers a 35 minute flight.

Built of premium carbon fiber, the flying car is equipped with an airframe parachute and emits zero carbon.

It looks jolly nice, and it does work, it probably costs more than anyone can afford though.
