Nvidia's 7600GT to continue clock frenzy

Samsung GDDR-3 memory chips are going to stay highly friendly to the overclocker crowd, edging out first chip with 256-bit memory interface: the ethernal sunshine of... sorry, Radeon 9700. It took "only" four years for GPU manufacturers to surpass the first 256-bit card with their respective 128-bit mainstram parts in terms of sheer memory bandwidth. Can anyone with a sane mind recommend a card with 128-bit memory interface? Rather payup for the 256-bit ones, that small price premium is pretty much worth the cost... in the long run --- I wonder what happened to that: high-end hardware stays "high-end for a year, mainstream for a year, low-end for a year"?
