GeIL Ultra Platinum PC4000 Dual Channel Memory

@ 2006/02/15
The GeIL Ultra Platinum PC4000 Dual Channel Memory's performance at its default speed is blistering fast. This is possible because of the excellent 2.5-4-4-7 memory timing. While that's commendable, I was able to use a timing of 2-4-4-6 at 500MHz DDR. This results in better performance, which is always good thing.

I would check the web for reviews and compile a small comparison sheet with overclocking potential and overall performance for each kit

Do you have a idea how this GeIL compares to this Muskin memory?

The XP4000 REDLINE eliminates the memory as a potential bottleneck when overclocking. Mushkin 2GB-XP4000 Redline parts are 2x1GB dual channel kits designed for operation at 250MHz with relatively tight timings of 3-3-2-8(Cas 3, trcd 3, trp 2, and tras 8). Operating at a nominal voltage of 2.6-2.9v, unlike previous Redline modules which require high voltage for rated specification, these modules operate under standard voltages.
