ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe

ASUS has added the A8N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard to their already successful and highly-acclaimed A8N series. Is this board a worthy successor to the A8N line? Another interesting point concerning this board was the ability to break the 1000MHz Hyper Transport limitation. Overclockers have often run into the inability of most motherboards to go very far past the 1GHz HTT limit, as doing so would produce instabilities and could even prevent a system from booting. With the A8N32-SLI Deluxe, I was able to hit a HTT of 4x300MHz for a HTT speed of 1200MHz, which was a welcome surprise and improvement over previous models of the A8N family.

I was able to run 4x 300x9 using DFI nF4 Ultra D since last May, currently 291x9 at 4X with Opteron 165.
