DDR500 speeds have been around since the Socket A days, but it just recently has become a popular speed for enthusiasts as I have yet to see an Athlon 64 unable to do DDR500 speeds. Corsair, a renowned memory manufacturer, has released their PC4000 memory modules aimed at bringing the high end speed to their memory hungry users.
