the noise it makes it the wheels inside of the feedback engine being spun, it's normal and you'll hear the same with 99% of all Force Feedback wheels for home-use.

hey you all again.. sorry for not replying your last post jmke.. but anyways i have decided to buy the driving force pro

now jmke, i just wanna know if your dfp actually makes the noise when spinning the wheel.. or is it just mine?

that will depend on the PS2 emulator you are using, I don't think there's one yet which can let you play GT4 at a reasonable FPS

hmm is it possible to play PC emulated PS2 games such as Gran Turismo 3/4 or maybe even Initial D with the Logitech MOMO Racing Force?

If I get the opportunity to try out a Driving Force Pro, I will.

Thanks for the information!

it works perfectly on PC games, what's more with the Wingman profiler you can set the lock to any degree you like.

500° (some prefer 700°) seems to work best for "road cars"
200° for Formula
400° for GTR cars

OK, you've got me intrigued:

The 900 degree steering feature on the Driving Force Pro doesn't work on PC games even if they are the same title as the PS2 games, correct?

The best affordable Steering Wheel for PC is actually a PS2 wheel

the Logitech Driving Force Pro can be used on PC and has official support and drivers, don't go MOMO, go DFP
