Entry level cards are a necessity in the marketplace. They earn the most revenue overall for the video card makers, yet there is so little written about them. So what exactly do you lose by going with a budget card? From our experience, as long as you don't base heavy emphasis on gaming (and most people don't on a HTPC/office PC), you don't lose anything at all.
