To compete with Radeon RX 550

According to the latest reports, Nvidia is apparently working on an entry-level SKU, named the GT 1030, which should be based on a new 14nm GP108 Pascal GPU.

According to Expreview.com, Nvidia is preparing to launch its newest entry-level Geforce GT 1030 graphics card in order to counter AMD's newly launched Radeon RX 550.

The Geforce GT 1030 is likely to be based on a 14nm GP108 Pascal GPU and pack up to 512 CUDA cores as well as come with up to 2GB of GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit memory interface. The same GPU has been spotted earlier in the AIDA64 list of device IDs.
