Not that long ago, Most gaming mice seemed to have hit a wall at 800 dpi. Manufacturers appeared think that this was just fine for the purpose, and no more work was needed. That was about when the Boomslang showed up, complete with two models – at 1000 and 2000 dpi respectively. Although not optical, these are still hot mice to own. Razer has since upped the ante, with the Viper and Diamondback series optical mice, which boast 1000 and 1600 dpi resolution respectively. Logitech, never the slacker, has also stepped up with the MX518 which has 1600 dpi resolution as well. Today we’ll be looking at the Raptor-Gaming M2, a mouse capable of up to 2400 dpi.
