AMD denies desktop price cuts in July

WHILE INTEL is certainly cutting the prices on its desktop microprocessors in August, as we reported in another story today, sources at AMD claims it's holding firm on prices in July.
We reported the price cuts when we were out in Old Taipei last week - that being based on conversations with several high up people working for AMD partners.

Perhaps these partners are wishing that AMD would make the price cuts in July. We sure as heck know a lot of consumers are hoping for them. µ
