Toshiba launches OCZ RD400 NVMe M.2 SSD

Toshiba has launched its new OCZ RD400 SSD series which will be the first consumer NVMe/M.2 SSD that will ship in capacities reaching 1TB but also the first SSD launched in the new Toshiba - OCZ brand.

Positioned as the high-end SSD in the Toshiba OCZ product lineup, the new Toshiba OCZ RD400 SSD is based on Toshiba's 15nm MLC NAND and uses NVMe protocol and PCI-Express Gen3 x4 interface, providing significant performance improvement compared to standard SATA-based SSDs.
