@ 2016/03/16Asus has rather silently unveiled its new Geforce GTX 980 Ti Strix Gaming Ice graphics card that will be based on a completely custom design and pack a Bitspower full-cover water block for cooling.
Spotted on Asus Chinese site by Zol.com.cn, the GTX 980 Ti Strix Gaming Ice features a custom PCB with Super Alloy Power II components and 14-phase VRM, powered by two 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors, and will feature two modes, Gaming and OC Mode. The Gaming mode sets the GPU at 1190MHz base and 1291MHz GPU Boost clocks while the OC Mode pushes those clocks a bit higher, to 1216MHz for the base and 1317MHz for the GPU Boost clock. The memory remains at reference 7.2GHz.
