Broadcom launches Opteron chipset!

It has been speculated for some time that Broadcom was launching an Opteron chip for servers. This would be big news as a Broadcom chipset would be a big tool to compete with Xeon and Itanium even more effectively. Well today they have officially announced that chipset.
